Cyber attacks don't break in. They get let in.
We work with Microsoft 365 businesses across the Bay of Plenty and Waikato, five staff to fifty-five. If that's you, keep reading.
We're trusted by local names like Winger Group, Mount Maunganui Golf Club, Bay Civil and Farmer Autovillage. When you give us a call, you get someone local who already knows your systems, not an overseas call centre reading off a script.
Same trick, sharper tools.
Phishing emails used to have easy-to-spot signs like bad grammar, the wrong logo, an address that didn't quite match. AI's fixed most of that.
It can now clone a voice from a few seconds of audio. So the call asking you to urgently pay an invoice might sound exactly like your supplier. Because it's built to.
In 2025, over 100 companies, including Microsoft and Google, signed a joint letter warning AI is speeding up attacks faster than most defences can keep up. That's where we come in. The tricks keep getting sharper, so the habits and systems protecting you need to also.
How we can help you:
Cybersecurity assessments and risk reviews
Identity and access management, including MFA enforcement
Microsoft 365 security and governance
Cloud backup, separate from Microsoft's own short-lived retention
Incident response and business continuity planning
AI governance and acceptable use policies
Supplier and third-party risk management.
Only around 30% of NZ SMEs put new security measures in place before they're attacked. Close to 60% wait until after. (NCSC, 2024)
Don't wait to become part of that 60%. A proper health check tells you exactly where you stand, before a breach does it for you.

Quick, jargon-free reads from our blog on how these scams work.

Calm on the surface.
Busy underneath.
Cybersecurity Review: What you've actually got, not what the last invoice said you should have.
Plan: Plain English, priced, ranked by what matters most.
Implement: Done on your systems, without derailing your week.
Monitor: We keep watching. Attackers don't stop. Neither do we.
This is already happening to businesses like yours.
The average cybersecurity breach costs a New Zealand SME $173,000. (NCSC 2024 SME Monitor).
That's the real cost once one of these tricks gets through. It's not rare, and it isn't cheap.

Frequently Asked Questions
We're a small business. Are we really a target?
Yes. That's exactly why. Attackers know small businesses have weaker defences and less time to check whether something's genuine. You don't need to be a big name to be worth targeting. You just need to be an easier door than the one next to you.
What happens if we think we're already compromised?
Just give us a call. We'll help you work out what's actually happened and what to do next, calmly and quickly.
Do we need to switch our whole setup to work with you?
No. Most of what we do sits on top of what you've already got, especially if you're on Microsoft 365. We'll tell you what's worth changing and what's fine as is.
We already have antivirus. Isn't that enough?
It helps. It won't stop someone from convincing your team to hand over a password or approve a fake invoice. Most of what we see now gets through because a person was tricked, not because a system was broken. Antivirus is just one layer.
How long does an initial review take?
It depends on how complex your business is. A smaller setup takes around thirty minutes, a bigger one longer. We’ll ask how things run day to day, then tell you where the gaps are.
What's the one thing we should do first?
Turn on multi-factor authentication for everything: email, accounts, payroll and social. If someone gets hold of a password, MFA keeps the door locked. It's quick to set up and stops a lot of real-world damage.
Let's close the door before someone else opens it.
